The 3x3 Pro Rebounder is an all-around baseball and softball fielding trainer built for high-volume solo reps, reaction work, glove training and throwing accuracy. Its 36 in x 36 in training surface, 1.5-inch steel tubing, adjustable angles and fold-flat frame make it a versatile choice for home training, team stations and serious player development.
What Kind of Rebound Should You Expect?
Rebound speed and trajectory depend on throw velocity, distance from the net, rebounder angle and bungee tension. A firmer throw into a tighter net produces a faster return; a softer throw or flatter angle produces a more controlled return.
Training Setup
Typical Return
Best For
5–10 ft away, moderate throw
Quick, controlled return
Short hops, glove transfers, reaction work
10–20 ft away, firm throw
Faster game-like return
Ground balls, line drives, infield reactions
Lower rebounder angle
Lower return trajectory
Ground balls and short hops
More upright angle
Higher return trajectory
Line drives, fly-ball reactions and hand-eye work
Important: This is not a pitching machine and does not create a fixed return speed. The player controls the difficulty by changing throw speed, distance, angle and bungee tension.
More Reps Without a Partner
Throw into the net and train the return. Change the angle and distance to work on ground balls, line drives, short hops, forehands, backhands and reaction plays. The 3x3 size gives players more target area than compact rebounders while remaining portable enough for everyday use.

The rebound surface is approximately 36 inches by 36 inches.
Can it be used for baseball and softball?
Yes. It is designed for both baseball and softball fielding, reaction and throwing-accuracy work.
Does it fold for transport?
Yes. The frame folds flat for easier storage and transport.
Can the return angle be changed?
Yes. The rebounder has adjustable training positions so players can create different return trajectories.
How fast does the ball come back?
There is no single fixed return speed. Return speed depends on how hard the ball is thrown, how far the player stands from the net, the angle of the rebounder and bungee tension.

Great for down time at practice!
The guys on my team love this rebound net! As coaches know, some guys get warmed up before others and without direction, they will start horse playing and goofing off. With a 10u team, the horse play can be contagious and all but ruin a practice. I set the rebound net up at the backstop and the guys make their own competition with it while waiting for the later arrivals to get loose. It keeps the guys warmed up while having fun! Best of all, it helps with their reaction times and fielding a variety of different balls. The 32" is good for them to practice accuracy while throwing and also returning the ball different each time depending on where they hit the net. We do also use in other practice drills but this thing is extremely valuable in keeping the guys active and independently practicing while we set up that days drills. We'll always keep one on the field! It seems to be very well built and is definitely getting the reps in with no show of wear. If any coaches are thinking about getting this, you won't be sorry. Real coach, real review!

26 x 26 rebounder
I am in physical therapy as a result of rotator cuff surgery. I was looking for an exercise to supplement the exercises at PT. When I could finally come over the top to throw a baseball/softball I found the rebounder. It is EXACTLY what I need to get back in shape. It's the perfect size and provided the necessary rebound for my exercise/training regimen.

Plyo wall
The plyo wall is excellent. Well built and allows us to do all our weighted throws. I recommend anyone looking for a quality portable plyo wall to buy from Maximum Velocity Sports.

Best quality you can find.
If you grew up with an old school pitchback, you know how much the quality has suffered from the ones you'll find on amazon. Yea, this one has a premium price, but it's construction is highly superior. You get a sharper bounce too. If you're looking to find a rebounder that can stick with you through all ages, then this is the one to buy. Buy one of these for the rest of your players days or buy the cheap one on amazon...
Definitely don't do like I did and buy the one on amazon first to realize you should have invested in the best to begin with.

Daily use!
The 3X3 rebounders are great, we have started using them every day and they go to every practice. We enjoy finding new ways to use the rebounders in softball drills. Everything from catchers working on transfers to outfielders working on drop steps!
