How to Use the Spin Right Spinner

1. Start with easy catch. Begin approximately 30–40 feet apart using a normal four-seam throwing grip.
2. Watch the rotation. A clean, stable rotation indicates an efficient release. Excessive wobble gives the player immediate feedback that the release needs adjustment.
3. Make the adjustment and throw again. The immediate feedback allows players to experiment with finger position and release until they consistently produce the desired spin.
4. Progress into different pitches. Once the fastball release becomes consistent, use the Spinner to work on the rotation of other pitches.
5. Use it as a feedback tool. Incorporate the Spinner into warm-ups, throwing programs or the beginning of bullpen work, then transition back to regulation baseballs.
